Overview
Assistant to Guides Administrator (Junior / Entry Level) – Cape Town, Western Cape. This is an office-based role in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town : Monday – Friday. The role involves liaising with operators, consultants and the accounts department.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all admin related to tour guides; from checking expense lists before tours to advancing the correct funds to guides for the tour.
- Reconcile all expenses after tours when the slips and documents are returned.
- Prepare payments to the guides and calculate the VAT on all expenses.
- Send payment advices to guides for both expenses and fees.
- Keep the guides data base up to date and organized.
- Communicate with the guides when necessary regarding expenses and slips, etc.
- Send out IRPs and payslips.
- Coordinate liaison with the operations team, consultants and the Accounts department as needed.
Requirements
Matric; admin and accounts experience (travel / tourism industry advantageous).Intermediate admin and accounts background.Experience handling admin related to tour guides’ expenses and payments.How to Apply
