About the role
The Business Exchange is seeking a highly professional, service-driven Centre Manager to lead the operations of one of our premium business centres. This role is central to ensuring a world-class experience for all tenants, visitors, clients, and staff. As a premium brand ambassador, the Centre Manager will oversee the full spectrum of centre operations — from reception and hospitality to facilities management and tenant engagement.
Responsibilities
Maintain a neat, professional front-of-house experience
Greet and assist guests in a courteous and efficient mannerManage all incoming calls and messages, ensuring accurate routing and follow-up (for both tenants and the company)Handle deliveries and visitor queriesMonitor and report any safety or security concernsTenant relationsAct as the first point of contact for tenant support and operational needs
Maintain attendance registers and emergency proceduresTrack revenue, occupancy, and tenant-related chargesEscalate issues to appropriate departments and maintain tenant satisfactionUphold a professional environment free of office politics and gossipBoardroom coordinationManage bookings, readiness, and cleanliness of boardrooms
Perform pre- and post-use inspections and report any issuesCoordinate with Hospitality team for seamless meeting experiencesHospitality oversightWork closely with Hospitality staff to maintain cleanliness and presentation
Report staff absences and manage daily coordinationSupport HR administration for Hospitality staffSales supportConduct viewings for potential tenants when required
Actively contribute to occupancy management and lease trackingMaintain professional conduct during all client interactionsStock & supplies managementMaintain tight control over centre stock and supplies
Prevent misuse and ensure timely restockingKeep accurate inventory recordsOperational dutiesEnsure the centre complies with internal policies and procedures
Oversee maintenance, repairs, and IT issuesSupport tenant onboarding and offboarding processesCoordinate with internal departments for seamless operational flowRequirements
Minimum qualificationsGrade 12 certificate
Diploma or Degree in Communications, Client Relations, or related fieldMinimum 6 years’ experience in Centre Management, Property Management, Hotel concierge or similar roleExperience and skillsStrong reception and customer service background (6–10 years)
Experience managing technical equipment (projectors, conferencing tools, etc.)Proven ability to manage busy operational environmentsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google SuiteAdvantageous experiencePrevious property industry experience / hotel industry experience
Familiarity with tenant leasing and space managementConflict management and tenant relationship handlingBehavioral competenciesProfessional appearance and conduct
