Job descriptionFreedom Printpak is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all inventory records and stock control processes across all warehouses. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting production continuity, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management System standards. Develop and implement a structured cycle count plan across all warehouse locations. Conduct and oversee regular spot checks and stock reconciliations to maintain stock integrity. Verify and approve formal stock counts in accordance with company procedures. Reconcile system stock records with physical inventory and investigate discrepancies. Ensure all stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers, returns) are accurately recorded and traceable. Monitor warehouse compliance with inventory control procedures and report non-conformances. Prepare and distribute accurate inventory reports and analyze data for trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Administration teams to maintain accurate stock traceability. Complete board and material forecasts to support production planning and ensure material availability. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and documentation. National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations (preferred). 3–5 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or related field. Experience in a manufacturing, printing, or packaging environment advantageous. Strong understanding of inventory control methodologies (cycle counts, stock reconciliations, variance analysis). Working knowledge of ERP / WMS systems (e.g., Syspro). Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proactive and results-driven approach.
