We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven External Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, distributing, and servicing pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment. With a solid track record of sales success, you will be responsible for growing our client base, maintaining existing relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales & Business Development : Proactively seek out new business opportunities in the pump, motor, and valve industry. This includes selling new products, parts, and repair services.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with superior products and exceptional after-sales service.
- Sales Presentations : Deliver compelling sales presentations to existing and potential customers, highlighting the advantages of our products and services.
- Forecasting & Reporting : Track and forecast sales on a monthly and quarterly basis, reporting to the Sales Manager. Maintain records of sales activity and outstanding sales orders.
- Achieving Sales Targets : Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Problem Solving & Customer Support : Resolve customer complaints efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction, and provide solutions for equipment issues in collaboration with the technical team.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the Sales Manager and team to coordinate efforts, share insights, and contribute to the companys sales strategy.
Qualifications & Skills Required :
Sales Experience : Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in pumps, motors, gearboxes, or related equipment.Proven record You will need to demonstrate your previous / proven sales & KPI track record.Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with pumps and related equipment is preferable, along with experience selling new units, parts, and repair services.Communication & Presentation Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations to various stakeholders.Computer Proficiency : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with basic tablet and CRM skills.Time Management : Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Interpersonal Skills : Ability to build relationships and work effectively with customers, peers, and managers. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Independent Worker : Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while keeping detailed records of sales activities.Goal-Oriented : Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and forecast sales projections over a 3-month period.Pressure Handling : Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.Commission structure Very lucrative commission up 30% of salesIf you are a driven individual with the ability to manage multiple sales activities independently and youre eager to grow in a reputable company, we would love to hear from you!
