Description
The Utilities Manager will lead and manage utilities services within the University of Witwatersrand and dive into utilities data to uncover opportunities for savings and lead water and energy-related projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and drive the Utilities and Energy plans for the University of the Witwatersrand.
Administer and manage designated portfolio and control general utilities (water, electricity, diesel & gas).
Ensure compliance with SHEQ regulatory requirements and standards, including outsourced contractors.
Management of contractors; technical advisory; billing dispute resolution.
