Title : Project Administrator
Location : Century City, Cape Town
Reporting To : Operations Manager
Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects, maintaining accurate records, and driving efficiency across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing queries.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, timelines and status reports.
- Coordinate internal resources and staffing to meet project requirements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement strategies to increase efficiency.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet Kibo's standards.
- Identify and manage potential risks impacting project timelines or deliverables.
- Support team training on project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure project support and performance.
- Assist leadership in developing strategic roadmap phases aligned with business and client goals.
- Ensure each project phase delivers measurable value to clients.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the operations team as needed.
Key Requirements
2-3 years proven experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in IT or an MSP environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual : English and Afrikaans. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
A relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., BCom in Project Management) or equivalent.Preferably a postgraduate qualification in Project Management (Postgraduate Diploma / MSc) or related field.Other Requirements
