Senior Accountant, D1 Seriti, Middelburg Mine Services, Mpumalanga Internal & External Ref no : MMS092 / 25GS Closing date : 29 September 2025 The role : The purpose of this role is to execute financial management reporting and planning, support budget management and tracking, conduct financial planning analysis and budgeting whilst operating as the business partner to the operations and functions embedding financial discipline and providing sound financial management advice. Responsibilities will include but not limited to : Responsible for the preparation of Management Reports to relevant stakeholders. Responsible for managing the forecasts and budgets for the mine functions. Execute budgeting and forecasting process, including budget submissions. Maintain accurate costing model for business. Track and report cost and productivity initiatives. Continuously track and report operational financial performance. Perform analysis to ensure that all commercial decisions consider value, risk, cost and opportunity (cost, margin, EBIT, FCF) Perform financial analysis including variance analysis, scenario and option analysis. Execute cost accounting processes timely and effectively, ensuring operational discipline and strict adherence to internal accounting guidelines and controls. Execute month end costing activities. Finalise results of operational performance and report to management and stakeholders.
