Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all aspects of cheese production, from milk intake to packaging and dispatch.
Lead, motivate, and develop production staff to achieve operational excellence.
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Food Quality standards.
Manage production planning, resource allocation, and workflow to meet delivery schedules.
Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency initiatives.
Monitor and report on KPIs related to productivity, quality, and cost control.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements :
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Food Technology, Production Management, or Engineering).
Minimum 5 years experience in a production management role , preferably in dairy or food manufacturing.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven track record of managing teams of 50+ people.
Sound understanding of HACCP, ISO, and Occupational Health & Safety standards.
Hands-on, proactive approach with attention to detail.
