The Role : Production Team Leader (Shopfitting)

This role is ideal for an experienced shopfitting professional ready to take the next step into leadership. Youll supervise and coordinate production activities on the factory floor ensuring smooth operations top-quality output and adherence to project deadlines. Working closely with design procurement and workshop teams youll play a key role in maintaining efficiency safety and craftsmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead motivate and train production staff to meet performance and quality targets

Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure on-time project delivery

Oversee quality control and ensure products meet client and specification standards

Enforce health safety and environmental compliance at all times

Manage workflow materials and equipment maintenance schedules

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity

Liaise with design and procurement teams for production alignment

Complete administrative and performance reports accurately and on time

About You

Minimum 5 years of experience in shopfitting or a related production environment

Matric required; a supervisory or production management qualification is advantageous

Strong technical understanding of shopfitting joinery and woodworking machinery

Proven leadership communication and problem-solving skills

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) for reporting and scheduling

Hands-on organized and able to work extended hours or weekends when needed (overtime payable)

Physically fit energetic and willing to travel for projects (transport provided)
