Vacancy : Electrical and Instrumentation Technician – Durban, KZN

Our Client, a leader in the Manufacturing Industry, is seeking to appoint an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join their dynamic team in KZN.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintenance and repairs to all equipment

• Electrical, Instrumentation and electronic repair and maintenance of all machinery within the factory.
• Fault finding and rectification on Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens and Lenze Variable Speed Drives and PLC’s.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens and Lenze PLC programming and fault-finding.
• Fault-finding and analysis of machine condition and electronic component failures.
• Perform routine tests of electrical and instrument equipment, and control system as per procedures and schedules.
