Team Manager

The Team Manager will lead, coach, develop, and drive the performance of a team of Sales Consultants. This role is responsible for daily operational management, performance delivery, compliance adherence, culture building, staff development, and ensuring achievement of sales KPI's.

About the Role

The Team Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Sales Consultants within a dynamic contact centre environment. The role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met, developing team capabilities, and fostering a high‑performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and manage clear performance, quality, and development goals for team members.
  • Motivate and coach the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage incentive programs and budgets.
  • Oversee onboarding and training for new consultants.
  • Support staff career growth and skills development.
  • Handle people‑related issues including absenteeism, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance adherence.
  • Manage capacity, complaints, and call structure adherence.
  • Collaborate with project and campaign management teams to ensure readiness and target achievement.
  • Build and maintain a motivated, results‑driven sales team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in team management within a sales environment.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an outbound call centre.
  • Background in financial services or insurance will be advantageous.
  • Sound understanding of IR processes.
  • Matric (or equivalent).
  • Fluency in English and one other South African official language.
  • Commitment to the FAIS Act and meeting Fit & Proper qualification requirements.
  • Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong grasp of first‑line management practices.
  • Familiarity with contact centre systems, procedures, and performance management tools.
  • Knowledge of business processes, teamwork principles, and staff motivation techniques.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Resilience and results orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning and organisational ability.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • R40 000 Cost To Company (None, Negotiable).

    Customer Service Leader

    Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Leader to enhance the team’s capability in handling customer complaints effectively with a customer‑first approach. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in team management, and a proven record of delivering exceptional customer service.

    Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and quality responses to customer complaints and escalations across all channels.
  • Ensure a customer‑centric approach is embedded in all processes and interactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience across all touch points.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the customer service team.
  • Provide training and support to team members in complaints handling and customer service skills.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and motivate staff towards achieving performance targets.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure the team adheres to quality metrics.
  • Must haves

  • 4 years Management / Team Leader experience on an online retail campaign.
  • Ecommerce Customer Service Experience.
  • IR & Performance management experience.
  • Market place experience (eBay, Amazon, TikTok).
  • Experience managing a Work From Home team.
  • Student Advisor / School Marketer

    Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and register students across all programmes.
  • Conduct school and corporate marketing, presentations, and fieldwork.
  • Advise prospective students and guide them through the registration process.
  • Manage walk‑ins, calls, and email queries effectively.
  • Participate in career expos and student events.
  • Maintain accurate student records and update databases.
  • Represent the REGENT brand as a positive and professional ambassador.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Diploma in Sales / Marketing / Student services or related field (advantageous).
  • 2–3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or student recruitment.
  • Experience in an educational institution (advantageous).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Confident presenter with great interpersonal skills.
  • Tech‑savvy with MS Office, Zoom / Teams familiarity.
  • Strong sales drive, organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Adaptable, resilient, results‑focused.
  • Email Campaign – UK‑Based Client

    Respond to customer questions regarding products, services, order status, and account information via email. Assist customers in placing, modifying, or cancelling orders and ensure accurate entry of order details.

    Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working on an online retail campaign in a call centre.
  • Grade 12.
  • Salary : R11 700 (No benefits). Work from Home. Monday‑Friday. Must have strong internet connectivity.

    Field‑Based Solar Panel Sales

    This is a field‑based position that involves travel, driving, and direct client interaction.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Promote solar panel products to potential customers.
  • Encourage clients to speak with the call centre for further assistance.
  • Drive to different locations and meet clients in person.
  • Promote door‑to‑door.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12).
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Mobile Contracts Sales Consultant

  • Call potential customers to promote mobile contracts and achieve sales targets.
