Job Description
Human Resources Generalist to partner with the manufacturing operations, located in Pinetown. This opportunity is great for a human resources professional with a strong employee relations and training & development experience in a unionised manufacturing environment.
About the Role
This is a dynamic role and the incumbent will be responsible for employee relations, talent acquisition and organisational development. This role reports directly to the HR Manager.
What You Will Do
Be the support and point of contact on Human Resources topics for both employees and line managers.Responsible for Talent Acquisition across different levels within the organisation.Provide sound advice, support and execute various activities on Employee and ensure compliance with legal requirements.Provide guidance to both employees and line management on policies and procedures.Participate and have an active role in Organisational Development initiatives, Training and Development and general Human Resources Administration.Secure and or improve process delivery and contribute to overall high‑quality Human Resources Information System within the organisation.Provide professional HR support in all operational / administrative HR issues related to agreed activities.Participate in projects and contribute to a service culture to fulfil the service level agreement with various stakeholders.Requirements
Matric and Tertiary HR Qualification.Minimum of 3 years HR partnering experience in a unionised manufacturing environment, and experience in dealing with SETA's.Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong functional knowledge of HR Information Systems. Workday experience beneficial.Excellent communicator (written, verbal and listening) and able to engage in a professional manner at various levels within the business.Meticulous attention to detail, innovative with the ability to drive processes forward.Analytical, insightful, courageous and decisive.Work well within a team and collaborate across functional teams at all levels.High levels of integrity, care and honesty.Location : Pinetown, South Africa

Driver – Code 14 / 10
Collect recycling and general waste material safely and efficiently at designated locations, within a set timeframe.
Primary Duties
Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.Keeping the vehicle safe and clean.Refuel and clean vehicles.Using navigation apps to determine the best route.Inspect trucks and complete daily vehicle checklist before departing the yard.Drives safely and follows all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.Assist Runners by loading and off‑loading material at collection points.Count all bags loaded on vehicle.Collect, maintain and organise all paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each collection.Report and document any accidents or vehicle issues to the Transport Controller.Adhere to all reasonable instructions given by the Transport Controller.Adhere to OHS ACT legislation and site regulations.Keep driver’s license up to date.Secondary Duties
Assist with all ad hoc requests from client.Assist with any administrative duties when required.Assist with sorting and other general duties if required.Requirements
Matric / grade 12 or equivalent qualification.Minimum 1 – 2 years working experience in a similar role.Must have a valid Code 14 / 10 driver’s license and a valid PDP.Clean driving record.Forklift licence (for Code 10).Employment will be implemented in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
