Job Description
Human Resources Generalist to partner with the manufacturing operations, located in Pinetown. This opportunity is great for a human resources professional with a strong employee relations and training & development experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
About the Role
This is a dynamic role and the incumbent will be responsible for employee relations, talent acquisition and organizational development. This role reports directly to the HR Manager.
What You Will Do
Be the support and point of contact on Human Resources topics for both employees and line managers.Responsible for Talent Acquisition across different levels within the organization.Gives sound advice, support and execute various activities on Employee and ensure compliance with legal requirements of various Acts within legislation.Provide guidance to both employees and line management on policies and procedures.Provide expert knowledge, support and activities with various legislated authorization bodies.Participate and have an active role in Organizational Development initiatives, Training and Development and general Human Resources AdministrationSecure and / or improve process delivery and contribution to overall high-quality Human Resources Information System within the organizationProvide professional HR support in all operational / administrative HR issues related to agreed activities.Participates in projects and contributes to a service culture to fulfill the service level agreement with various stakeholders.Requirements
Must have Matric and Tertiary HR QualificationMinimum of 3 years HR partnering experience in a unionized manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft Office; strong knowledge of HRIS (Workday beneficial)Excellent communicator (written, verbal, listening); professional at various levelsMeticulous attention to detail; innovative with ability to drive processes forwardAnalytical, insightful, courageous and decisiveTeam player; able to collaborate across functional teamsHigh levels of integrity, care and honestyLocation : Pinetown, South Africa
