The basics

Contractor Role | Full Time | Flexible workplace | Work from home

This role will be required to work North American business hours.

About the role

What you’ll be doing

  • Generate new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying prospective municipal clients.
  • Execute cold outreach campaigns via phone, email, and social channels to drive top-of-funnel activity.
  • Tailor outreach messaging to resonate with different segments of the government sector.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points, goals, and timelines.
  • Book and coordinate meetings between qualified leads and senior sales team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead activity in HubSpot CRM.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless handover and follow-up on qualified opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and the evolving needs of local government clients.
  • Support marketing initiatives by providing on-the-ground insights and feedback
  • Represent Government Frameworks with professionalism, integrity, and a sense of humour.

About you

We are looking for a individual who has :

  • 2+ years of proven business development experience, preferably in SaaS or enterprise applications.
  • A strong drive to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions and write persuasive messages.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • A tech-savvy individual with a deep understanding of the needs of government entities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing the sales pipeline and documenting interactions.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, events, and conferences
  • Ability to adapt to a shifting landscape and provide proactive solutions to sales process challenges.
