Minimum of 5 years of MANUFACTURING or FMCG experience, with +- 2-3 years being in a team leader or HOD position

- Be in a position of a RED Seal Millwright Artisan qualification
- Solid and traceable employment record.
- Maintenance Planning experience
- Excellent Technical levels
- Excellent electronic knowledge
- Have a very strong mechanical & electrical background / experience
- Demonstrate leadership ability by leading from the front
- Being able to communicate effectively and have good interpersonal skills
- Have a hands-on approach and pride in the work performed
- Attention to detail and perseverance to get the details right

- Being able to plan, organize, and control costs
- Manage maintenance spending within budget

KEY PERFORMANCE
To ensure that the quality of products that the factory supplies its customers meets the desired standard & specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, the quality and the consistency of the product produced.Ability and knowledge in training Jnr Millwrights. Must be highly disciplined and lead the team in a similar manner.Involvement and leadership in problem-solving and continuous improvement, both of the product being produced, as well as the operation of the equipment in the departmentDeveloping relevant process controls and ensuring that they are carried outMaintenance of all equipmentImplementing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program in the departmentPurchasing and financial controls on all departmental maintenance expenses to ensure that the department meets its budgetary requirements and commitmentsPurchasing and financial controls on all consumable materials are necessary to ensure product qualityHousekeeping and Health & Safety
