IT Developer - Urgently Required

Our client based in Claremont is hiring an IT Developer. Any candidates who do not reside in Cape Town are encouraged to apply however relocation will be for your own cost.

Key Purpose of the Role :

The IT Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of the OWLS system. The successful candidate will develop and maintain SQL reports and templates, resolve system and business issues, and provide end-user support. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain complex SQL reports and OWLS system templates.
• Perform unit and system testing for OWLS changes / enhancements.
• Analyse and resolve system issues effectively.
• Provide training and guidance to users, handling queries as needed.
• Conduct operational monitoring and reporting of OWLS.
• Manage security and user administration of business applications.
• Assist with IT audits and quarterly security reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business alignment and service delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Strong exposure to SQL programming and database systems.
