Job Advert Summary : We are seeking a Logistics and Transport Management Trainee. This role will focus on developing practical experience within a supply chain. Duties include coordinating transportation, optimizing routes and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

• Transportation Coordination : Organizing and overseeing the movement of goods, including selecting appropriate modes of transport, scheduling deliveries, and tracking shipments.
• Route Optimization : Utilizing software and data analysis to find the most efficient and cost-effective routes for transportation.
• Inventory Management : Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Data Analysis and Reporting : Collecting and analysing data related to logistics operations, preparing reports for management, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Relationship Management : Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Problem Solving : Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the transportation process, such as delays, damage, or discrepancies.
• Compliance : Ensuring all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
