Job Description
Looking for a consultant with a strong expertise in SAP Group Reporting and SAP FI / CO, extensive experience in financial consolidation processes, and the ability to lead both functional teams and business stakeholders through full lifecycle SAP implementations.
Minimum Requirement
Knowledge of different accounting standards.
- 10–12+ years of SAP experience, including 3+ years in SAP S / 4HANA Group Reporting.
- At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of Group Reporting (design through go-live).
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP FI / CO (GL, AR, AP, inter company, asset accounting).
- Strong understanding of consolidation processes, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and group close.
- Solid grasp of IFRS, US GAAP, and local accounting standards.
- Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing senior finance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills.

SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S / 4HANA Finance for Group Reporting (preferred or equivalent hands‑on experience).
SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S / 4HANA for Financial Accounting (FI).Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA).SAP Activate Project Management certification or equivalent (advantageous).IFRS certification or equivalent finance / controlling background preferred. Mandatory.SAP Group Reporting Expertise – Minimum 6–8 years of experience in SAP Financial Consolidation and Group Reporting.SAP S / 4HANA Finance Experience – At least 3 years working with SAP S / 4HANA Finance, including Universal Journal, Central Finance, and Group Reporting Data Collection (GRDC).Banking Industry Experience – Minimum 3 years working in a regulated banking or financial services environment. Familiarity with regulatory reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, Basel III) and financial consolidation requirements specific to banking.Integration Knowledge – Experience integrating SAP Group Reporting with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) or legacy consolidation tools, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and visualization, Non‑SAP systems for data collection and mapping.Data Governance & Compliance – Strong understanding of data validation, audit trails, and compliance frameworks. Experience supporting internal and external audits related to consolidated financial statements.Reporting & Analysis – Ability to design and deliver group‑level financial reports, disclosures, and dashboards. Experience with Fiori apps, embedded analytics, or SAC integration.Project Leadership – Experience leading SAP Group Reporting implementation or enhancement projects. Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and coordinate with finance, IT, and compliance stakeholders.Stakeholder Engagement – Strong communication skills for engaging with CFOs, finance controllers, and regulatory bodies.
