- MTS's client in the West Rand is looking for a Project Manager with experience in HR transformation projects in the mining sector. The role would focus on design, implementation, and governance of HR processes and enterprise architecture (Oracle HR Systems).
Qualifications, Experience and Deliverables
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Process Management, or related field.Certifications : PMP / PRINCE2, TOGAF, CBAP (preferred).6+ years’ experience in HR transformation projects, ideally in miningStrong project management skills (PMBOK or Agile).Expertise in process engineering and enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate).Advanced business analysis skills (BABOK Level 4).Experience with Oracle HR systems (Oracle HCM Cloud or E-Business Suite).Delivery of architecture models (L1–L3) and process documentation.Successful implementation of Oracle HR modules aligned with business requirements.Compliance with governance and regulatory standards.Stakeholder satisfaction and minimal disruption to HR operations.Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for HR process engineering and Oracle system implementation.Coordinate cross-functional teams : HR, IT, Enterprise Architecture, and external vendors.Process Engineering
Analyze and redesign HR processes (recruitment, payroll, performance management, training).Ensure process optimization and compliance with mining industry standards and labour regulations.Document workflows and process maps using BPMN or similar frameworks.Enterprise Architecture (L1–L3)
Define and maintain architecture principles and standards for HR systems.Develop conceptual (L1), logical (L2), and physical (L3) architecture models for Oracle HR solutions.Align architecture with organizational strategy and IT governance frameworks (TOGAF or similar).Business Analysis (L4)
Gather and validate business requirements for HR systems and processes.Translate requirements into functional specifications for Oracle HR modules.Support testing, data migration, and user acceptance activities.Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the bridge between HR leadership, IT teams, and Oracle implementation partners.Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.Human Resources jobs
