Project Engineer : Solar & BESS Solutions

Growing renewable energy company seeks to employ a Project Engineer with experience across the full project lifecycle, from site assessment and modelling through proposal development and customer engagement to solution delivery and after-sales support. Johannesburg based

For the position you would be required to have :

• B. Sc / B. Eng / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 3–5+ years’ experience in the solar energy industry.
• 3–5 years’ experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Proficient in Excel for modelling, calculations, and proposal development.
• Solid understanding of Grid-Tied Systems : SolarEdge, Sungrow, Sunsynk, Huawei.
• In-depth knowledge of BESS systems : Sungrow, Atess, Sunsynk, SigEnergy.
• Commercial and Industrial Solar, BESS, Utility-scale experience
• Willingness to travel across Gauteng
