Job descriptionConduct investigations, design, and provide supervision for electrical engineering projects. Build and nurture strong business relationships with clients. Lead and contribute to renewable energy projects with a focus on Solar PV and Battery Storage Solutions. Design UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units and standby generator systems. Contribute to Green Building Design initiatives.
Job Title : Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer
Location : Pretoria
Salary : R720 000 – R1,3 Million. Salary depends on experience.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (B. Eng. / B.Tech.)
- Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or close to achieving registration.
- Demonstrated consulting engineering skills and relevant experience.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in renewable energy projects, particularly in Solar PV and battery storage solutions.
- Experience in Building Electrical Installations and general Electrical Reticulation will be advantageous.
- Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to renewable energy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in Building Electrical Installations and general Electrical Reticulation will be advantageous.
