ABOUT THIS ROLE

A well-established legal practice is seeking a confident, detail-oriented Junior Conveyancer to join their Johannesburg office.

This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with at least 3 years of post-admission experience , specifically in residential mortgage bond transactions. We're looking for someone who is not only technically strong but also highly organised, proactive, and able to perform under pressure - all while maintaining professionalism and excellent client service.

In this full-time, on-site role, you\'ll work closely with clients, paralegals, and colleagues to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant conveyancing processes. If you\'re reliable, solutions-focused , and have a passion for property law, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Handle the full range of conveyancing transactions, with a primary focus on residential mortgage bonds
• Draft and review legal documents and agreements with precision and care
• Ensure all transactions meet statutory and regulatory requirements and deadlines
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records using LexisConvey or GhostConvey
• Provide clear, professional guidance to clients throughout the conveyancing process
• Supervise and mentor paralegals, providing structure and support as needed
• Work independently on files while also collaborating with the wider legal team
• Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
