Product Specialist

Product Specialist – ESCO Group LLC, Johannesburg

Hybrid role with 60% business travel.

Purpose of Role

As a product specialist you will interact daily with internal and external customers and suppliers, leveraging technical expertise to support the ESCO sales team and our customers, cementing our position as trusted technical advisors. You will provide on‑site presence at fabricators, manage capital bucket builds, and deliver “sketch‑to‑dirt” engineering experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide product selection, implementation and troubleshooting support.
• Deliver technical presentations to customers to support market share growth.
• Quoting and management of internal processes related to projects.
• Supplier management : selection, lead time, technical support, quality management and final project sign‑off.
• Logistics management and commissioning of projects.
• Support fabrication project warranties.
• Act as liaison between international design engineering teams and local sales team.
• Provide product training and support implementation of new products.
• Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm safety culture.
