Key Performance Output
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Fire and Rescue and will be responsible but not limited to the following :
Collect all Wildlife data, conduct trend analysis and report findings.Monitor physical wellbeing of working dogs and action when necessary.Ensure serviceability and safeguarding of relevant facilities, vehicles and equipment.Adhere to relevant statutory / legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, ACSA policies and procedures, employee manual and Service Level Agreements / MOU to ensure business continuity.Monitor and identify ditches and trenches on the airfield and escalateMonitor and identify damming areas on the airfield and escalate.Conduct inspections and patrols to reduce potential hazards and take remedial action.Facilitate and coordinate educational Wildlife awareness programmes.Attend mandatory Aviation training as per ACSA policies and procedures and legislative requirements.Attend identified development programmes for succession planning purposes.Participate in educational Wildlife awareness programmes.Technical Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required :
National Senior Certificate is essential.National Diploma (NQF 6) in relevant field is recommended.Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in relevant field is recommended.No experience is required.Basic knowledge of MS OfficeCode B driver’s license is requiredSecurity / Safety jobs
