TMM Diesel Mechanic Middelburg

Introduction

Mining company outside of Middelburg is seeking to employ a TMM Mechanic to join their ever growing team

Ideally 3 years experience after Apprenticeship

The ideal candidate will either reside in the surrounding areas or be willing / able to move at own cost

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of diesel engines and experience working on heavy duty equipment particularly in the mining industry.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on TMM diesel engines

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment

Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment

Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs

Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic particularly with TMM equipment

Diesel Mechanic Trade and Grade 12 / N3 Certificate

Technical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Excellent communication skills

Valid drivers license
