A well-established organisation operating within themanufacturing sector is seeking a detail-oriented andproactive new / recently qualified SAIPA Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers broadexposure across the full accounting function and will suit someone who enjoysworking in a structured, operationally driven environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role inensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls,and supporting operational decision-making through clear financial insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparemonthly financial reporting packs including management accounts, trialbalance, income statement and balance sheet reporting.
• Performmonthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including accruals,work in progress, goods in transit and asset clearing.
• Analysemanagement accounts and provide commentary on expenses in collaborationwith operational teams.
• Maintainthe integrity of financial records and general ledger transactions.
• Processmonth-end journals and perform bank and cashbook reconciliations.
• Managetax-related processes including VAT, PAYE and UIF reconciliations andsubmissions in line with SARS requirements.
• Assistwith year-end external audit processes and respond to audit queries.
• Reviewand approve supplier reconciliations and payment releases.
• Maintainand update accounting system master data to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• RelevantFinance or Management Accounting degree or diploma (minimum 3-yearqualification).
• Completed SAIPA/CIMA articles or similar
• Experienceon ERP systems such as Business Central, SAP or SYSPRO beneficial.
