Job description

ACDC Express is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in-store preparing quotations processing orders providing technical product advice and driving sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for someone with strong sales skills excellent communication abilities and a passion for building lasting customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product selection and technical advice.
  • Generate quotations and follow up on outstanding quotes.
  • Process customer orders invoices and payments accurately.
  • Handle customer enquiries via telephone email and in-store.
  • Promote products specials and marketing campaigns.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform daily cash-ups and balance transactions.
  • Assist with stock receiving stock counts and general store operations when required.


Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • 13 years experience in internal sales or a retail sales environment.
  • Experience in the electrical hardware wholesale or retail industry will be advantageous.
  • Strong sales customer service and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Experience using POS and invoicing systems will be advantageous.
  • Good numerical organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Code B drivers licence and own transport will be advantageous.
  • Clear criminal and credit record.



    • Required Skills:

    4 - 5 years experience in retail industry preferred. Good communication skills knowledge of Microsoft office invoicing wholesale and POS systems.


    Required Education:

    Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or with Security Enterprises and regulations Board .
