Architectural Technologist

What You'll Be Doing - Creating and maintaining Revit families, and integrating hardware product data into BIM models to support accurate project specifications. - Preparing hardware schedules and technical specification documentation, ensuring compliance with SANS standards and building regulations. - Identifying and tracking project opportunities, and driving specifications toward sales conversion in partnership with the sales team. - Representing hardware requirements in BIM coordination meetings, resolving design clashes with architectural, structural and MEP teams before they reach site. - Delivering CPD presentations and technical workshops to grow awareness of BIM-ready product solutions in the design community. - Building lasting relationships with architects, designers, developers and contractors, and providing responsive technical support throughout the project lifecycle. - Maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline records, and reporting on specification and sales forecasts. What You'll Bring - A qualification in Architectural Technology (or a related built-environment discipline). - Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows, ideally with experience developing product families or content. - Familiarity with SANS standards, building regulations and specification documentation. - A confident, relationship-driven approach â" you're as comfortable presenting to architects as you are following up a lead. - A specification-to-sales mindset: you understand that great technical work is what unlocks commercial opportunity. - Solid communication and coordination skills for working across design, technical and sales teams.
