Visual Merchandiser - Retail Store

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the aesthetic appeal and sales potential of their retail stores across various locations. This role involves conceptualizing and implementing engaging visual displays that align with brand standards and marketing campaigns. You will be instrumental in creating an inspiring shopping environment that attracts customers and drives sales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic sense, a deep understanding of retail dynamics, and the ability to work independently and creatively in a remote capacity, coordinating efforts with store teams and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute compelling window displays and in-store visual merchandising concepts according to brand guidelines.
• Create product displays that highlight key merchandise, promotions, and seasonal themes to maximize sales impact.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure visual strategies align with overall business objectives.
• Develop visual merchandising guidelines and provide direction to store staff on display execution and maintenance.
• Monitor retail environments to ensure displays remain fresh, attractive, and consistent across all points of sale.
• Stay abreast of current visual merchandising trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform display strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative retail role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative display concepts and execution.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, spatial design, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in design software is a plus, but not essential if strong conceptual skills are demonstrated.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts.
