About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive Manufacturing Operations Engineer to join their facility in Rustenburg . This role is essential for driving efficiency, quality, and productivity within the manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for analyzing production lines, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to optimize workflows and reduce operational costs. Key Responsibilities Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies, safety hazards, and quality deviations. Collaborate with production teams to provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing issues. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency, quality, and cost. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards in the production area. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline. At least 6 years of experience in manufacturing operations or industrial engineering. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping). Experience with process automation, robotics, and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
