About the Role Our client is seeking a certified and experienced Real Estate Appraiser to join their established firm in Sandton . This role involves providing accurate and unbiased property valuations for a wide range of residential and commercial properties across the Gauteng province. You will conduct thorough property inspections, research market data, and apply appraisal principles and techniques to determine property values. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of the local real estate market dynamics in affluent areas like Sandton . This is a critical role that supports lending, investment, and legal decisions, requiring integrity and professional expertise. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess condition, features, and marketability. Research and analyze comparable sales, market trends, zoning, and local economic conditions. Apply standardized methodologies and principles to estimate property values. Prepare comprehensive and well-supported appraisal reports for lenders, investors, and legal clients. Maintain compliance with appraisal standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines. Manage appraisal workflow, deadlines, and client communications efficiently. Requirements Certified Appraiser designation (e.g., SACAP registration or equivalent). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Real Estate Appraiser. In-depth knowledge of property valuation techniques and methodologies. Strong understanding of the Sandton and surrounding property markets. Proficiency in appraisal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
