About the Role Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of innovative telecommunications solutions in Sandton . Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end technical solutions for complex telecommunications projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders and engineering teams, to define solution requirements and objectives. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools for proposed solutions. Develop detailed architectural designs, diagrams, and documentation. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the development lifecycle. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions. Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications and network engineering, with a significant focus on architecture. Deep understanding of core network technologies (IP, MPLS, DWDM), mobile networks (4G/5G), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and virtualization (NFV/SDN). Proven experience designing complex, large-scale telecom solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
