Lodge Attendant – Luxury Safari Lodge | Grahamstown, EC
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and service-focused Lodge Attendant to join a luxury safari lodge in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. This live-in opportunity is suited to an energetic and hardworking hospitality professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Position details:
Position: Lodge Attendant
Location: Grahamstown, Eastern Cape
Property type: Luxury Safari Lodge
Salary: R7,500 – R8,000 per month
Accommodation: Live-in
Key responsibilities:
Assist with the daily operations of the lodge and ensure all guest areas are maintained to a high standard.
Provide friendly, attentive and professional service to guests throughout their stay.
Assist with housekeeping duties and ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, neat and well presented.
Assist with meal service, table setting and clearing when required.
Support the lodge team with general duties to ensure the smooth running of the property.
Assist with guest arrivals, departures and special requests.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
Ensure guest amenities and supplies are adequately stocked.
Work closely with other departments to ensure guest requirements are met efficiently.
Assist with maintaining a welcoming and professional environment throughout the lodge.
Requirements:
Previous hospitality or lodge experience would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of guest service.
Friendly, professional and approachable personality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, hardworking and willing to assist across different areas of the lodge.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.
Physically fit and comfortable with the demands of a hands-on lodge environment.
Candidates must be comfortable with a live-in position.
