Warehouse Associate - Night Shift

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join their night shift team, supporting operations remotely for their Benoni facility. This role is vital for ensuring that all warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping, are completed accurately and efficiently during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to strict operational guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to customer requirements and deadlines.
• Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper stock rotation and storage.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as trained (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
• Conduct regular checks to ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards.
• Support inventory cycle counts and assist in resolving discrepancies.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is highly advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Reliability and punctuality, especially for the night shift schedule.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a remote context.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
