Project Manager - IT & Software Development

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Project Manager with expertise in IT and Software Development to join their dynamic team in Benoni . This hybrid role offers the chance to lead innovative software projects from conception through deployment, working closely with development teams, product managers, and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs and drive technological advancement. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile methodologies.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project resources, including budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient utilization.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication among development teams, QA, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management , with a specific focus on IT and software development projects.
• Proven experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or CSM certification is preferred.
• Experience working in a hybrid capacity, balancing remote collaboration with in-office presence.
