Remote Clinical Trial Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Clinical Trial Manager to lead and oversee clinical trials from start to finish, with a focus on ensuring efficient operations and data integrity, supporting studies relevant to the Paarl region but managed remotely. This is a fully remote position that requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of clinical trial processes, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external vendors effectively. You will be instrumental in driving the successful execution of clinical development programs, contributing to the advancement of new therapeutic agents. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and execute clinical trial plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all aspects of clinical trial conduct, from site selection and initiation to monitoring, data management, and study close-out.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs across all trial activities.
• Manage relationships with CROs, central laboratories, and other third-party vendors, ensuring performance standards are met.
• Lead and mentor clinical trial staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing remote team environment.
• Prepare study-related documents, including protocols, investigator brochures, and regulatory submission documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, healthcare, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in clinical trial management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-center clinical trials from initiation to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote work environment, managing projects across distributed teams.
