Remote Courier Services Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and adaptable Remote Courier Services Coordinator to manage and optimize their delivery operations across the Eastern Cape . This fully remote position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate a network of couriers and drivers to ensure prompt and secure delivery of packages. You will be responsible for dispatching, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that arise during the delivery process, all from your home office. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, adept at using various digital tools, and committed to maintaining high service standards for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily operations for a courier network, assigning deliveries to available drivers.
• Utilize tracking software to monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams.
• Proactively identify and resolve delivery issues, such as delays, lost packages, or customer concerns.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, providing clear instructions and support throughout their routes.
• Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries, service exceptions, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in courier services , dispatch, or logistics coordination is essential.
• Proficiency with delivery management software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Strong remote communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively from a remote location.
• Problem-solving aptitude and a customer-centric approach.
