About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Recreational Program Coordinator to develop and manage engaging programs at their community facilities in Benoni . You will be responsible for designing program curricula, scheduling activities, overseeing instructors, and ensuring the smooth operation of all recreational offerings. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage a variety of recreational programs, including sports leagues, fitness classes, and arts & crafts workshops.
• Recruit, train, and supervise program instructors and volunteers.
• Develop program schedules, budgets, and promotional materials.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all program participants, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments to meet community needs and interests.
• Manage registration processes and maintain accurate participant records.

Requirements

• Experience in program development and coordination, preferably within a recreational or community setting.
• Strong knowledge of various recreational activities and programming best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is advantageous.
