Warehouse Supervisor (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of their warehousing operations, in a completely remote role. While not physically present in a warehouse, you will be responsible for directing and managing warehouse teams, optimizing workflows, ensuring accurate inventory management, and upholding safety standards through virtual oversight and strong communication. This position is ideal for a leader who can motivate and manage a distributed team, drive operational improvements, and maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse operating procedures and best practices.
• Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counting, stock adjustments, and discrepancy resolution.
• Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Champion safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills, especially for remote teams.
• Ability to analyze data and implement operational improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for communication and performance monitoring.
