About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Professional Makeup Artist & Beauty Consultant to join their team, working a hybrid model that includes on-location assignments and remote consultations in Rustenburg . You will be responsible for creating stunning makeup looks for various clients, including bridal parties, special events, and editorial photoshoots, as well as providing personalized beauty advice and product recommendations. This role requires a blend of artistic skill, technical expertise, and excellent client service, ensuring every client feels confident and beautiful. You will be part of a dynamic team that values creativity, professionalism, and a passion for the beauty industry, contributing to memorable experiences for clients throughout the North West province.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and apply makeup for a variety of clients, including bridal, special occasions, fashion, and photography.
- Conduct virtual and in-person beauty consultations, assessing client needs and offering tailored advice.
- Recommend and demonstrate the use of various makeup products, tools, and techniques.
- Maintain a pristine and organized makeup kit, ensuring all products are sanitized and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and event planners to achieve a cohesive look.
- Stay current with the latest makeup trends, styles, and product developments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Makeup Artist with a diverse portfolio showcasing various styles.
- Proficiency in a wide range of makeup application techniques for different skin types and tones.
- Excellent understanding of color theory and facial anatomy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client trust and rapport.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively for on-location and remote assignments.
- Professional makeup artistry certification or equivalent experience.
