About the Role

This role is vital for enhancing recovery rates, optimizing metallurgical processes, and troubleshooting complex processing challenges. You will work with a diverse range of ore bodies and processing plants, applying your extensive knowledge to drive efficiency and value. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot mineral processing circuits (e.g., comminution, flotation, leaching).
• Conduct metallurgical test work programs and interpret results to improve plant performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site-based metallurgical teams globally.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase metal recovery and reduce operating costs.
• Prepare detailed metallurgical reports, process flowsheets, and operational guidelines.
• Stay abreast of new metallurgical technologies and innovations.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral processing and metallurgy, with a strong track record of success.
• Expertise in various commodities such as base metals, precious metals, or industrial minerals.
• Proficiency in metallurgical simulation software (e.g., METSIM, JKSimMet).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and provide expert advice across different time zones.
