Caregiver - Elderly Support

This role is focused on assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will be responsible for promoting independence and dignity while providing companionship and support. Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with meal preparation and ensuring adequate nutrition.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
• Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes in condition to the agency or family.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role, preferably with the elderly.
• Understanding of basic health and safety procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.
• A background check may be required for this position.
