About the Role

WhatJobs Direct is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team on a fully remote basis. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the company's ongoing operations and procedures, ensuring operational excellence, and driving efficiency across all departments. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high standards of quality.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and P&L responsibilities for operational departments.
• Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company policies.
• Work closely with other C-suite executives to establish strategic plans and ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to the CEO and board of directors.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in operations management, with a proven track record of driving significant business growth and efficiency.
• Extensive experience in strategic planning, financial management, and P&L responsibility.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and lead remote teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach.
• Experience in developing and implementing scalable operational processes.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with modern collaboration and project management tools.
