Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the concierge desk, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of concierges, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Manage guest requests, reservations, and arrangements for dining, entertainment, transportation, and tours with precision.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, tour operators, and service providers.
• Proactively identify and anticipate guest needs, offering personalized recommendations and solutions.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints efficiently and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure all concierge staff adhere to the hotel's service standards and policies.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and amenities in and around Benoni .
• Manage the concierge budget and inventory of supplies.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure coordinated guest service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concierge or in a similar guest-facing role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of the Benoni area and its attractions.
• Proficiency in hotel reservation systems and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A polished and professional appearance, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
