Key Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide compliance policies and procedures. Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on the business. Conduct internal compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to policies. Investigate potential compliance breaches and assist in developing corrective action plans. Provide general legal support and advice to business units on compliance‑related matters. Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies as required. Support the Legal team in various day‑to‑day legal and compliance activities. Help maintain records and documentation related to compliance activities. Requirements Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa or an LLB degree holder. 0-2 years of post‑qualification experience, with a strong interest in corporate compliance and regulatory law. Familiarity with South African corporate laws, data protection regulations (e.g., POPIA), and general commercial law. Excellent research and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. High degree of integrity and ethical conduct. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
