IT Manager (Cybersecurity, Networking & Systems Management) (CPT)

ENVIRONMENT :

A rapidly growing UK-based Next-gen Telco / VoIP Provider seeks a dynamic & hands-on IT Manager to oversee and continuously improve the company’s IT systems, security, and network infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically experienced professional who can balance daily operational management with long-term planning. You’ll manage a cloud-first environment with 180–200 on-site staff in the Cape Town call centre and around 20–30 remote team members globally. You’ll own everything from network uptime and Cybersecurity to Endpoint Management, user access, and system reliability, ensuring teams can work efficiently and securely every day. Working hours : will be aligned with UK business hours (10 : 00–19 : 00 SAST) to support Operational teams.

DUTIES :

Systems & Network Management –

• Manage and maintain internal network infrastructure, including Sophos firewalls, managed switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
• Oversee connectivity from dual ISPs, ensuring redundancy and high availability.
• Support and maintain endpoint devices for all office and remote users (Windows, macOS, laptops / desktops).
• Manage software updates, configurations, and device policies.
• Handle troubleshooting, cabling, and general IT operations within the call centre environment.
