Sales Director - UK Campaign (Cresta Junction, Johannesburg)
We're scaling fast - and we need a proven sales leader who knows how to build, empower, and manage high-performing teams that deliver results.
As our new Sales Director, you'll take full ownership of our outbound sales operation - leading multiple teams, driving structure, and scaling from 10 agents to 40+. You'll create a disciplined, high-energy cold-calling environment built on skill development, performance management, and operational excellence - focused on selling the strength of our product and service, not competing on price.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced sales cultures, combining strong administrative discipline with a passion for coaching, growth, and team success.
What you'll be doing
- Leading, developing, and scaling the outbound sales operation (currently 10 agents, growing to 40+)
- Building and managing a high-performance cold-calling culture focused on skill growth, quality conversations, and long-term relationships
- Coaching and mentoring Sales Managers and Team Leaders to deliver consistent results
- Designing and executing structured outbound sales strategies aligned with business growth goals
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training to build capable, confident sales professionals
- Managing performance dashboards, reporting, and KPIs to drive accountability and improvement
- Collaborating with leadership on forecasting, campaign direction, and operational planning
- Setting and managing departmental budgets, admin processes, and performance metrics
- Ensuring compliance, call quality, and brand standards across all teams
- Representing the South African sales division within the wider UK-focused leadership structure
What you'll bring
5+ years of proven leadership experience building and managing large cold-calling teamsStrong ability to coach, structure, and motivate teams to sell on value, not priceExcellent administrative and organisational skills with a process-driven approach to performance managementTechnical competence to understand, demonstrate, and communicate YUMA's EPOS and software solutions confidentlyExperienced in CRM platforms such as Zoho, with a data-led approach to team oversight and pipeline controlStrategic thinker with commercial acumen, operational discipline, and strong people leadershipBackground in managing outbound sales teams of 20+ within tech, SaaS, or payments environmentsBonus : Experience with UK or US campaigns, EPOS, or technology salesWhat's in it for you
Highly competitive base salary (45k Rand PCM -135k Rand PCM) with uncapped commission potential
28 days' leave including public / bank holidays + 1 extra day per year of service
