Position : Senior Technician Metering X 1 (INTERNAL) Position / Task Grade : T12 Area of specialization : To independently operate, maintain, commission, diagnose complex faults and repair control plant equipment in a safe and effective manner to sustain or enhance quality of supply and meet organizational objectives according to Eskom standards, procedures, directives, work practices, guidelines, policies and service agreements Department : Control Plant Maintenance Emalahleni Business Unit : LIMLANGA Cluster Location : Emalahleni

Authorisation on Low Voltage Operating Regulations (LVOR) and Outcome 3 responsible person

Control plant specific work execution

Accredited to level 2 or intermediate for control plant specific maintenance discipline

Valid Code 08 driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

Maintain control plant equipment

Install and commission control plant equipment

Diagnose faults and repair control plant equipment

Lead work execution

Perform invetigations

Ensure mentoring and coaching

Adhere to safety, health, environment, quality, and security (SHEQS) requirements

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s) :

National N Diploma / National Diploma Technical Engineering at NQF6 with 240 credits

Related Minimum Experience :

3 Years experience in a technical environment
