Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across sales, stock, and admin functions.
- Assist in implementing sales strategies and monitoring sales performance to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Help manage stock control, including order accuracy, deliveries, stock levels, and system updates (e.g. VISION and WOM systems).
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving client queries, managing complaints, and building lasting relationships.
- Supervise and support team members in their roles, promoting a positive, performance-driven environment.
- Assist with cash management, debtor accounts, and compliance with company financial processes.
- Coordinate with Head Office and other branches regarding policies, reporting, and operational updates.
- Contribute to training, coaching, and developing staff to uphold company standards and improve productivity.
- Ensure health, safety, and housekeeping standards are upheld in line with company policies.
- Step in during the Branch Managerâs absence to maintain operational continuity.
Qualifications and Experience :
Matric Certificate (with Maths Literacy minimum)Additional related courses / qualifications will be an advantage3â5 yearsâ experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the motor industrySound technical knowledge and understanding of motor partsExperience in motor part sales and customer serviceUnderstanding of profit & loss, basic financial responsibilities, and store budgetsFamiliarity with procurement processes and supplier relationsExposure to ISO 9001 / 45001 or other relevant quality management systemsStrong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with stock management systems and controlsStrong background in sales and customer interactionIf you havenât heard back from one of our Talent Gurus within 7 days of submitting your application, we regret to let you know that your application was not successful this time around.
