Electrician (Qualified) National

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science.

Completed an electrician apprenticeship or trade qualification.

Registered or eligible to register with the relevant South African professional body.

At least 3 years of proven experience in industrial, commercial, or maintenance electrical work.

Proficient in using electrical testing tools, meters, and safety equipment.

Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment according to industry standards.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations.

Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing devices and recommend solutions.

Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Ensure all electrical work complies with South African safety and quality standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Assist with upgrades or modifications to electrical systems when required.

Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
